English Language Assessment


KELTA;s official journal is English Language Assessment, which is a semi-annual, refereed journal for papers addressing topics related to English language assessment and, in special cases, language assessment in general. Both theoretical and empirical research papers are accepted. Non-members as well as members are welcomed to submit their papers for publication.

Unless otherwise arranged, all contributors are expected to pay for the paper review and publication fees. The review fee is 60,000 Won, which should be paid at the time of paper submission. The publication fee for an accepted paper is 100, 000 Won for the initial 25 pages, with additional 10,000 Won per extra page. If the paper is a project report funded by some institutes or organizations other than the authors themselves, the basic publication fee will be 200,000 Won. The publication fee will be billed after the paper is accepted for publication.

Papers for review should be submitted to Professor Inn-chull Choi, KELTA's Vice President for Publication, at icchoi@korea.ac.kr
with a scanned copy of receipt for the payment of the review fee.
